Embracing Change

I love New Year's Day.  I love this time of the year, not for the parties and hoopla, but I love this day for what it represents.   This day represents something incredible that makes up the very fabric of who we are as human beings.
New Year's Day represents transition and change.  The ability for us as human beings to create change in the way we think, act, and live is an extraordinarily powerful tool to creating the life of our dreams.
The whole living world depends on change.  This is why we have 4 seasons in the year, why different plants grow at different periods, why fallen leaves thousands of years ago are now oil hidden deep in the earth's core.  Everything in life has a birth/death/rebirth cycle. To live is to change.  Our bodies are in a constant and never-ending state of change.  Every day, 100 billion cells are destroyed and replaced throughout our body.   Our entire physiology is based upon the anticipation of change, and the adaptation process that follows.
If we want to create change in our bodies, to increase our strength and lose weight, we have to train our bodies with the appropriate frequency and intensity.  The same is true for our mind.  Our mind depends on consistent growth enhancing activities in order to mature correctly.
Creating lasting change depends on a level of trust in the process of change.
Belief or Faith:  Most of us live as though we believe the attitudes and actions we have had in the past predict the attitudes and actions we will have in the future.  This is not necessarily so.  We have to strongly believe that we can and will change for the better, and we
can make this decision at any instant.

As Jesus says, "With the faith of a mustard seed we can move mountains."
A mustard seed knows why it was created.  It only believes one thing; that it will grow and blossom into a mustard plant.  God sees us as victors of our circumstances, as champions of our endeavors, as his beloved children, royalty & heirs to the throne. Faith is to see ourselves as He does and act in accordance.
Growing up, I will never forget watching the 1997 NBA Finals between the Chicago Bulls and the Utah Jazz.  The day of Game 5, with the series tied at 2 games apiece, Michael Jordan was suffering from an extreme case of the flu.  Completely dehydrated and worn out, he got a ride from his teammate to the arena.  90 minutes before game time, he laid down on a training table, put some headphones on and visualized himself playing that night for 45 minutes.  He visualized every shot, saw himself running up and down the court, etc.  He knew he had to play.
He got up, got dressed and walked out on the court and told coach Phil Jackson he was ready to play.  That night, severely dehydrated and completely drained of energy, he nearly passed out a dozen times.  However, he pushed through what he considered one of the greatest challenges of his life and played a total of 45 minutes (more than any other player on the court for both teams) scoring 38 points in leading his team to victory.
Asked how he did it, he said, "Every single time, when I felt like I had run into the wall, when I thought I had nothing left...it was at those moments when I remembered that I was born for this.  I don't always know how it happens, I just see it and feel it in my heart, and then I trust the process."
Jordan knew he was born for greatness, knew he could rise to the occasion and do things he never before had.  The same is true for you.  You are born for greatness, heirs to the throne of the kingdom of heaven.   Make 2010 the year that you rose up and received all that God has for you.
"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We are born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us, it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."

Real Community Heroes

A recent report titled, "Health Timebomb hits Baby Boomers,"discusses how those over 60 are suffering more illness today than ever before in history.  Recent studies have shown that 1 in 5 Americans who are 60-something needed help with basic day to day activities.  That number is up more than 50% on studies done on 60 year-olds a decade earlier.  In addition, they are 70% more likely to have difficulty walking from room - room, getting in and out of bed and eating or dressing than the 60 year olds of 1999.
If that isn't enough, they were 50% more likely to have trouble walking a quarter of a mile or climbing 10 steps without a rest than the 60 year olds of 1999.  Although medicine is amazing at keeping us alive longer, we are devolving as species.  The truth is that people are getting sicker and degenerating faster today than ever before in history.
Something needs to be done.  This is why God has called a number of people up at this critical time in history to stand up against this modern day plague by passionately teaching the natural healing principles of God.
In the beginning of the 20th century, true heroes rose up against imperialism and tyrannous political leaders, in the 60's, against segregation, in the 80-90's against apartheid in South Africa.  The respected leaders, Ghandi, MLK, & Mandella, and those who both led alongside and followed with them are heroes for sacrificing their own comfort & security for what God says is the right thing to do.
The definition of hero is "protector" or "defender."  True heroes are those in our society who are out defending and protecting what is noble & right, not as defined by man, but by God.
I believe that when it comes to health there are certain natural, God-given principles of health & healing that must be protected.  Our society has neglected these principles, desecrated the very temple God provided for their spirit, and created an abomination with their bodies.  The inevitable result is an epidemic of sickness, disease, & needless suffering.
Many of the Community Heroes today are those who stand up against one of the biggest modern plagues of our time...medicalization.  People today are sicker, more toxic, and on more drugs than ever before in history.  Unless we the people, step up and spread this message of health & healing God's way...these numbers are only going to continue to get worse.  Yes, that means that you and your family will be dramatically affected by this if they have not already.
Community Hero's are modern day prophets, who are foretelling their friends/family and circle of influence what is going to happen if changes are not made.  Community Hero's are not swayed by the media, the environment, peer pressure, or what is popular.
They stand-up in the face of persecution, often from those they love the most, and continue to press-on.  Community hero's have amazing perseverance, for they know the truth, and the understand that the truth must be defended at all costs.  At the end of days, it is the Community Hero's who will have lasting peace, knowing that their life stood for something incredible.
"The fruit of righteousness is peace, the effect of righteousness is quietness & confidence forever."      Isaiah 32:17
Many of the people that read this newsletter are Community Heroes, and for that I want to solute you.  It is through the encouragement and inspiration of you brave and strong individuals that make my life's mission so much more fun and enjoyable.
At Exodus Health Center, we will be honoring several community heroes who are true leaders in this region.  They're volunteer commitment to teaching the natural principles of health & healing along with encouraging the people they know is inspiring.  They pursue through challenges with nothing more to gain than the excitement of seeing those in their circle of influence reap the fruit of amazing health.
Special Blessings to all who have taken up this great & mighty endeavor to teach the world where True Health comes from!

A HOLIDAY SUPERFOOD EXTRAVANGZA

The holiday season is notorious for high stress, and lots of high sugar, high fat comfort foods.  The inevitable result of this late season binge is a huge energy drop, and lots of illness, trouble and more stress to start the new year.
There are so many natural foods, herbs, & spices that are exploding with the tastes and textures we love, why do we buy into the "traditional holiday season" and submit to the man-made death trap of processed foods.  Make your holiday season healthier and more harmonious with the best superfood nutrition. Try utilizing these 3 nutritional powerhouses in your recipes:
1.       Cinnamon:  This incredible spice is the 2nd highest ranked anti-oxidant rich food with an incredible ORAC (Oxygen Radical Absorbancy Capacity) score of  267,536. Cinnamon's powerful essential oils are known for their "anti-microbial" factors.  Studies have shown this spice to be highly effective at halting the growth of bacteria as well as fungi, including the commonly problematic yeast Candida.

Cinnamon also helps to balance blood sugar by stimulating insulin receptors, giving them a stronger affinity for the blood-sugar lowering hormone.  In response, the body needs to produce less insulin in order to create the desired effect.  This creates less pancreatic stress, improved metabolic rate, and decreased inflammation.

If this isn't enough, the mere scent of cinnamon has been shown to powerfully stimulate regions of the brainallowing for greater attention span & memory.  Sprinkle tons of this amazing spice on sweet potatoes, pumpkin pie, fruit, pastries, ice cream, egg nog, etc.

2.      Cacao:  This nutritional powerhouse is the 5th highest anti-oxidant rich food boasting an ORAC score of 80,933. Chocolate is made from the seeds Theobroma cacao. The seeds are dried, roasted, & processed to form cocoa, the major component of chocolate.  Cacao beans taste like dark chocolate, because they are dark chocolate!

Cacao contains a group of powerful anti-oxidant polyphenols called flavenoids that include catechins, epicatechins (the widely regarded anti-oxidant in green tea), and procyandins (famed component of grape seed extract) which are known for their incredible ability to reduce free radical attack, destroy bacteria/viruses/yeast development, and inhibit cancer formation

Cacao is also rich in major minerals such as magnesium, calcium, iron, zinc, copper, potassium and manganese. These minerals are essential in maintaining normal cardiovascular tone (stabilizing blood pressure), immune, neurological, and reproductive health.  Incredible cacao based recipes such as rich and creamy fudge , truffles, and chocolate balls the whole family will love can be found at www.cacaoweb.net

3.      Coconut:  This nutritional powerhouse is a high-energy, weight loss, immune boosting superstar.   The 90% saturated fat content of coconut oil has been given it a bad rap for ages, but the new science has shown these medium chain triglycerides (MCT's) to actually improve cardiovascular function by reducing inflammation, and providing a preferred fuel for the heart in stearic acid.  In addition, the saturated component gives coconut oil remarkable strength to maintain its normal structure under high heat.  Due to this relatively uncombustable nature, it is the supreme oil to cook with and to utilize as a facial & body moisturizer.

These fatty acids do not require bile or large amounts of pancreatic enzymes to be metabolized (like most fats do) so they are easy for the liver, pancreas, and the rest of the digestive system. In addition, coconut has been shown to stimulate the thyroid and speed metabolism, increasing the body's natural fat burning abilities.  Finally, the MCT's enhance immunity by providing strong anti-bacterial, anti-viral, & anti-fungal functions.

Be sure to utilize the many coconut products such as coconut oil, milk, cream, flour, flakes, etc. in your different recipes.
At Exodus Health Center, we are here to help you find great new ways to add superfood nutrition into your family's diet.  We will be demonstrating exactly how to make these amazing superfood recipes that taste incredible and nourish your body at the same time. Some of the recipes to be made include:
Egg Nog         Chocolate Mints       Raw Chocolate Treats
         Dukka            Macaroons               Strawberry Almond Cream
Learn and enjoy some amazing recipes for a healthy and tasty  holiday party season.  I will be making a super deluxe egg-nog that is extraordinarily healthy and incredibly delicious.  We will have several other recipes on board as well.  Bring your friends with you to this fun and festive night of creative, enjoyable, & innovative holiday recipes.

GREAT HEALTH = PRICELESS

The NY Times just recently came out with an article titled, "Questioning a $30,000 a month cancer drug."  This article discusses the latest cancer treatments and their price on society.  The drug at question is Folotyn, which is a specialized drug that has just been approved by the FDA to treat peripheral T-cell lymphoma, a rare and usually aggressive blood cancer that takes 5,600 American victims each year.  Other notable cancer drugs include:
Avastin:          $8,800/mth  for lung cancer
Erbitux:          $10,000/mth for colon cancer
Clolar:            $34,000/wk for pediatric leukemia
Campath:       $5,000/wk for chronic lymphocytic leukemia
Arzerra:          $98,000 for 6 month treatment for chronic   lymphocytic leukemia.

If any of these drugs actually "cured," cancer, there would be no question of the value, but the reality is that none of them have been proven to increase cancer survival.  In fact, according to the NY Times, these drugs are said to only provide a few extra months of life at best.
In the clinical trial that led to the approval of Folotyn, only 27% of the 109 patients who took it experienced a reduction in tumor sizeand only 12% had a reduction in tumor size that lasted more than 14 weeks.  That isn't quite convincing evidence, especially since it wasn't tested against a placebo or a competitive drug.  Throw on the side effects, including nausea, constipation, chronic coughing, and swelling and it makes it quite a bargain.
Yet, the economic rule is that you can't sell it if people won't buy it. The reality is that people are doing whatever they have too to buy their cancer drugs, chemotherapy treatments, and radiation therapies.  Our society is paying hefty insurance premiums, throwing fundraisers, and soliciting donations for the people we know dealing with these preventable and naturally "curable," diseases.  It is rather absurd if you really think about it.
The unfortunate reality is that these doctors, hospitals, and drug companies are able to get away with this for 2 major reasons:
1)       Our society still esteems medical doctors as the hierarchy of health professionals.  The medical profession has been treated like God's for way to long. This is strange when they learn very little about basic preventative steps such as nutrition, exercise, detoxification, good posture and breathing habits.

2)      Urgency creates Value.  As a society we are "reactive" in our thinking.  This means that we tend to wait until there is a problem - and then spend 10x more to fix the problem.   The truly intelligent, spend along the way to maintain their car, house, family, education, and health. They avoid problems, maintain high level of quality in all of these areas, and save boatloads of $ in the long-run.

The Solution:  Here are my recommendations for saving time, energy, & money and improving your physical health, preventing disease, and enjoying a high quality of life.

1.      Shop Intelligently:  People are always shocked when they first begin to purchase organic products.  They were used to their toxic alternatives (which was really poison that was only posing as real food.  Wow, not much different than the cancer drugs, chemotherapy, & radiation.  (Poison that is posing as real credible treatments for cancer).  Buying clean is an incredibly intelligent decision, but it takes strategic planning to make it work long-term.
a.      Buy In-Season & Look For Deals in the Store.
b.      Shop at Farmers Markets & Network with Local Farmers
c.      Biggest Money Wasters:
                                                                          i.      Dressings/sauces - You can make them much cheaper & better.
ii.      Drinks - Best to drink clean water
iii.      Eating Out = You can make something cheaper & better
d.       Biggest Money Savers:
                                                                         i.      Organic, Free Range Eggs:  Superfood that is extremely cheap $3 a dozen. Poach, scramble, sunny side up, or raw...these are great.
ii.      Avocado's in Season:  $1 a piece for a calorie dense, alkalizing superfood is great.
iii.      Coconut Milk/Flakes:  Another superfood that is cheap and tasty.

2.      Correct Any Problems Now:  If you currently have a health condition or a problem with your spine/nervous system, your diet, stress, etc.  get it fixed now.  Most people tend to put off their problems until they can no longer function at the level they are comfortable with. At this point a level of urgency arises and they take action.  This isn't a plan for long-term health in any facet of life, much less your physical health.

Invest today in correcting the underlying causes (toxicity/deficiency) behind your health conditions and move on with your life, enjoying the blessings that follow this incredibly wise decision.

3.      Get Moving:  Quality exercise is something easy that you do not even need to pay for.  Gyms & home equipment are great, but if you are looking for health on a budget try the following:
a.       5-5-5 Burst Training Plan:  Warm-up for 5 min, do 30/30 intervals at a high intensity for 5 min and then cool-down for 5 min.  Short and intense is the secret to fitness success
b.      Get a Stability Ball with an exercise chart. These are terrific for building upper/lower and core strength, while improving balance and coordination.

4.      Don't Sweat the Little Things:    Excessive levels of mental/emotional stress is as toxic as anything else.  99% of what we stress-out over is typically a small detail that is not that important in the long-term.  Be strong and courageous, and know that if we are doing what God says is right then all the angels in Heaven are working on our side.  There is nothing to fear or stress about. Plan and prepare as best as possible and then let God take care of the rest.

5.       Get To Sleep:  Powerful healing takes place as you dose off.  This is the time your body uses its energy reserves to destroy cancer cells, detoxify the liver/gallbladder, and regenerate healthy cells.  The most critical hours of healing take place between 10pm and 2am, when your body secretes abundant amounts of growth hormone (so long as insulin/cortisol are not elevated).  Be sure to go to sleep early and rest well.

Insomnia, or trouble sleeping is one of the number one complaints in our society today.  This is deadly, as those who have trouble sleeping are over twice as likely of dying young from a preventable degenerative disease such as cancer.  Find out the cause (poor diet, mental/emotional stress, nerve stress/subluxation, neurotoxicity, or Rx drug side effects) and take immediate action to get it corrected.

Preventing disease and improving/maintaining incredibly high levels of energy and vitality is the greatest investment you can make in your future.  With compound interest, taking appropriate action steps as I listed above can save you over a million dollars during the course of your life.

BOOSTING YOUR IMMUNE MUSCLES

Most of our society lives with the idea that health is a state of "feeling good," and "not being sick or diseased."  We fear contact with bacteria, viruses, and other microorganisms.  We use anti-bacterial soap, sprays, pills, potions, & lotions.  We are constantly "gearing up," for the next big flu pandemic, etc.

Building Your Immune System:
The immune system function's much like a muscle.  When our muscles are challenged with exercise, they adapt & grow stronger.  When our immune system is challenged through mild levels of toxic & microorganism exposure; it gets stronger & more resilient.

Example:  2 people get exposed to the same virus, one person develops the flu while the other doesn't.  What is the Difference?  The strength & maturity of the immune system.

Hormesis:  Exposure to toxic substances & environmental challenges in small amounts is beneficial for the body.  The basic biological trait is the organism's ability to resist and adapt appropriately to both internal & external stresses.  The hallmark of aging is the organism's inability to withstand stress.

*Exercise allows us to better withstand physical stress on our bodies so long as we allow  proper recovery steps to rehydrate and refuel our bodies afterwards.

*Meditation & prayer allows us to better withstand mental/emotional/spiritual stress.

*Virulent exposure to challenges allows our immune system to mature and grain strength as long as we provide the necessary modulators for it to adapt appropriately.

Critical Immune System Modulators:

1.      Balanced Gut Flora:  Our intestinal system and mucosal membranes (sinuses, respiratory tract, genitalia, etc.) are lined with billions of different bacterial colonies (We are a living bacterial hotel).  Progenic bacteria work in symbiosis with us (help promote life), whereas pathogenic bacteria create toxic waste and promote disease in our body.  These 3 forms of microorganisms compete for nutrients and thus work against each other.  A healthy ratio is 85% progenic: 15% pathogenic.  When this ratio is skewed, it is called dysbiosis, a condition that is extremely hazardous to our health and vastly impairs immune function.

2.      Balanced Fatty Acid Ratios:  Several critical fatty acids (Omega 3: ALA, EPA, & DHA & Omega 6: LA & GLA) cannot be synthesized in normal human metabolism and thus must be derived through diet.  These fats play an important role in the cell membrane and the receptor sites that bind hormones & neurotransmitters.  They also form prostaglandins (intracellular hormones which play a role in cellular inflammation cycles).  The ideal ratio is 2:1 (Omega 6:3), however, the typical American diet is loaded with the Omega 6 variety due to the large impact of grains and vegetable oils, and therefore, most people are around a 20:1 ratio.  This imbalance causes improper immune signaling, inflammation, & decreased immunological strength.

Supplementing with  EPA & DHA, provides the body with incredible neurological and immunological support.  These powerful long-chain omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids balance the Omega 6:3 ratio and create an anti-inflammatory reaction in the body.  This reaction helps to calm the immune system and keep it firing with the balance, synchrony, and precision necessary for long-term health.

3.      Vitamin D Levels:
Vitamin D has been shown to suppress most elements of the adaptive (inflammatory mediated) immune system while inducing most elements of the innate immune system. Thus, D3 prevents and effectively treats autoimmune diseases by suppressing adaptive immunity while enhancing the first line of defense against invading microorganisms by strengthening innate immunity.  This same mechanism makes it a critical player in the battle to "never get sick again."

4.      Anti-Oxidants & Trace Minerals:
Foods rich in major anti-oxidants and trace minerals are key to healthy immune function.  For super doses of the highest quality, choose fresh organic fruits and vegetables, grass-fed meats, & cage-free eggs.  Eat lots of green leafy veggies, and those rich in color like red cabbage, red onions, peppers, etc.   Be sure to use pink salts & lots of water as well for trace minerals and effective hydration.

5.      MCT's:  Medium-chain triglycerides such as capyrilic, mystic, and lauric acid are powerful immune stimulators.  Lauric acid, which is found in abundance within coconut oil, converts into "Monolaurin," which has powerful antiviral, antibacterial, and antifungal properties.  Research has shown it has the ability to destroy lipid coated viruses such as HIV, herpes, cytomegalovirus, influenza (flu) and various pathogenic bacteria.

In addition, these fatty acids do not circulate in the bloodstream like other fats, but are sent directly to the liver where they are immediately converted into energy, just like carbohydrates. So the body uses the fat in coconut oil to produce energy, rather than be stored as body fat.  3-4 Tablespoons of pure extra virgin Coconut oil daily will rev up immunity & metabolism allowing you to prevent illness and lose weight.

6.      Healthy Nervous System: Damage to the top of the neck (atlas/occiput junction), causes pressure on the brain stem switching the body into a chronic sympathetic overdrive.  This heightened fight/flight system causes a disruption in blood supply to the brain, trouble relaxing, concentrating, sleeping, and decreased immune function.  Chronically, this condition can lead to inflammatory disorders such as asthma, allergies, sinus issues, headaches/migraines,frequent colds/flu's, and cancer cell formation.    Chiropractic adjustments take pressure off this region allowing the power of life to recharge the body.  Several studies have shown a 200% increase in circulating immunoglobin levels over the following 24-36 hours after an adjustment.

7.      Balanced Sleep Cycles:  With the absence of light, the body produces melatonin, which induces sleep.  This hormone, made by the pineal gland, is also an instrumental player in modulating the immune system.  Poor sleeping habits lead to immune malfunction, inflammatory disorders, frequent colds/flu's, and other problems.  Best sleeping habits:  7-8 hours daily, 10pm - 2am, brings about large growth hormone secretions as well as stimulating liver/gallbladder cleansing mechanisms.  Sleeping (by 11pm) during this critical time frame is a key to long-term health.

Personally, I have not had a cold/fever/flu, etc. for over 6 years and I have absolutely no intention of over-stressing my system to the point where I will ever have those reactions again.  If you would like to join me and learn how to get your body working at the level where you "never get sick again," than you must take action and come to this workshop.  Discover highly effective strategies that will change your life forever as you learn the most cutting edge science of natural immune boosting.

THE POWER OF COMMUNITY

This past Tuesday, I volunteered at Kennesaw Mountain High School for the "Character Education" program that brings in local community leaders once a month to teach moral/ethical principles to the students.  The topic of the day was compassion.  I began a discussion about the subject with the class I was assigned.  I asked them about what it means to the giver, the receiver, and the 3rd party observer of a compassionate act?  How does the experience and expression of compassion change and transform our day from an individual standpoint, a community standpoint, and a worldwide standpoint?

The students told incredible stories of compassion that they have given and received, small acts of kindness, and larger acts of generosity.
Many of the events took place years ago, but the stories came across as fresh as yesterday.  Simple things such as a smile, a pat on the back, an uplifting word at a critical time seemed small in the moment but have left a lasting impression in the minds of both the giver and receiver.  The room was emotional, many were in tears, and all were touched.  Myself especially.

From a biological standpoint, we have a "mirror gene" that drives a reaction within us to reflect the attitudes and behaviors we are surrounded by.  Mirror neurons were first discovered by a group of researchers led by Dr. Giacomo Rizzolatti, using electrodes to test brain activity in monkeys.  Interestingly, they found that some of the neurons were activated not only when the monkeys performed certain acts, such as picking up food, but also when they saw someone else (experimenter or another monkey) pick it up. Further research into this phenomenon identified regions in the parietal and inferior frontal cortex that fire in similar patterns in the human brain when certain attitudes and behaviors are observed.

Scientists have hypothesized that these specific neuronal mechanisms are the foundation for empathy, imitation, and communication.  Certain neurodevelopmental and behavioral disorders such as autism have been shown to exhibit malfunctioning mirror neurons.

These neurons develop the patterning behavior of group conformity, where individuals act in certain ways that are different than they would individually in order to fit into the popular mentality of the group. From a negative perspective, it drives many to take on strategies and behaviors that lead to disaster.  We have all been affected at some point in our lives by negative, pessimistic, depressed, defeated, or highly critical people.  Their behavior has rubbed off and triggered our "mirror" gene to believe that this is a socially acceptable and desirable attitude.

It also stimulates an innocent, uninvolved bystander to tears as he watches a random act of kindness done to a lost and broken soul.  It drives a level of compassion and empathy deep within our heart & spirit to reach out and be an uplifting presence in the lives of those around us.  Whether we know it or not, like it or not, we are driven by the behaviors of those around us.

The Power of Community:     Com:  Together or With            Unity:  Acting as one.

A strong community, embraced around doing what is honorable and right, not in the eyes of man necessarily, but in God's eyes, is an extremely powerful tool to reshape a lost and broken world.

When we come together and act with compassion to our fellow man it stimulates a heartfelt desire for those around us to do the same and the same and the same.  This "momentum" principle when driven with enough force is what creates worldwide change.

The Exodus Health Center Community:  My dream, desire, and intention for Exodus from the beginning was and still is: To create an atmosphere full of positive education & encouragement in the areas of health & wellness.  Our goal is to fully empower people to live out their God-Given potential in life & health.  We stand for one thing:  Community wide transformation.

I believe in my heart that God gave us our physical bodies as a gift, a pure and holy vessel to be used to carry the spirit through challenges and experiences in order to grow, mature, and prosper.  Taking great care of this "Temple of the Spirit," is, in my opinion, a powerful act of worship.  Desecrating this temple with neglectful living, stress, worry, and selfish lusts, desires, and addictions is painful to God, our family, friends, and those we influence (through mirror genes).

Personally, throughout my life, I have too often influenced others in a negative manner with inconsistent behaviors that are out of integrity with who God says I am.  Fortunately, I know that I am forgiven, saved by grace, and that when I ask for it and call it out, God brings His blessing down and instantly everything I lay my hands on is blessed and prosperous.

I wake up every morning burning with passion to make a difference in the lives of those around me.  My prayer every single day is that God cleanses and purifies me so that I can be completely truthful in every area of my life, so that I can share my heart with those around me.  I pray that He uses me to break every yoke and stronghold off of those I influence because of His presence in my life.

At Exodus Health Center, I am so proud to be a part of a community of leaders that lovingly accept people where they are in their lives while encouraging them to take the next step toward their health goals.  Through your generous and loving spirits, many people have been uplifted and set free from defeat and addictions in this office.

One of the most exciting things about life is the concept of community.  When enough people unite in spirit, body, and mind...amazing and incredible things happen.  I encourage every one of you to get involved in strong and uplifting communities (at your church, civic group, or wellness center) that encourage the attitudes and behaviors that will help you achieve the goals & dreams you have in your life.

Of course, we would be blessed to have you join in our community movement at Exodus Health Center.  Please join us next week for an incredible community dinner where we will celebrate the holidays and I will share effective strategies to increase our daily peace and improve our health during the most stressful times of our life.
