From my experience, most people in society let excuses get in the way of truly reaching out towards their goals and dreams. It crushes me every time I see this, knowing that the individual is going to continue to fall victim to the same patterns and create the same undesireable results. The goods news is that doesn’t have to be you!
God created our bodies with an incredible ability to heal and rejuvenate ourselves. He created our physical cells, tissues, & organs to adapt around a state of homeostasis. Homeostasis refers to the ability of an organism to maintain equilibrium by adjusting its physiological processes. When our bodies are moving toward homeostasis – great things happen. When we are moving away from homeostasis, we are building sickness & disease.
Health = A state of Purity & Sufficiency at the cellular level
Disease = A state of Toxicity or Deficiency at the cellular level
The key to regaining and maintaining health is to provide purity and sufficiency at the cellular level. The key problems I most often find include:
- Acidic, Inflammatory Diet: The ideal internal pH is 7.365. If your blood’s pH rises or falls one tenth of a pH unit, it’s cause for a visit to a hospital’s intensive care unit. If blood pH moves two tenths either way, it’s lethal. *The body does whatever it must in order to maintain a steady blood pH*
Result: Alkaline minerals are stripped from:
Our bones & teeth (calcium) Our muscles & nerves (potassium)
Our arteries (magnesium) Our joints (sodium)
Excess acidity = stored in fat cells
- Movement Deficiency: Proper movement is essential to all life. Not only does it nourish your body with oxygen, but it literally feeds your cerebellum (the seat of higher maturity) through proprioceptive (movement sensation) input from the body. .The combination of oxygen and proprioceptive nourishment rev up your body’s natural energy stores creating greater efficiency and liveliness
- High Stress: Chronic stress causes an increase in the hormone cortisol which leads to glucose sparing, protein catabolism, inflammation, acid-formation, weight gain & fatigue.
- Poor Sleeping Habits: Human growth hormone is known for its amazing ability to build lean body tissue & burn fat. Many bodybuilders & athletes go to risky extremes to supplement their bodies with HGH. However, your body will naturally supply all it needs with optimal sleeping habits such as being in bed by 10pm and waking by sunrise.
- Deficient Nerve Supply: Subluxations such as forward head posture, loss of cervical curve, and lateral deviations in the spine (scoliosis) put tremendous stress on the brain-body connection affecting every organ in the body including the thyroid, adrenals, & gut.
